“Discovered to be a woman, Pauline Cox, age 26, of Dallas, Texas, who had been masquerading as a man for the past five years, stated that she is reluctant to return to her feminine attire again. She prefers living as ‘a man’ so that she can receive a higher scale of pay.”

Remember that historically women have always dressed like men because men are treated better, given better opportunities and have access to better resources that they selfishly keep from women through violence and laws and socialization.  It wasn’t about sex or personal identity, it was simply them trying to survive.
