this is a collection of very good points!! I think a lot of people hear our critiques of BDSM and think “they are overreacting to fluffy pink handcuffs and spankings!!” but that’s just not what BDSM actually is…its Bondage Discipline/Domination Sadism/Submission and Masochism…. like, I was in that community for 15 years - multiple D/s relationships, one 24/7 Dom, appearances at Sex Clubs, minor/adult relationships with grooming, boundaries regularly pushed and ignored, sub meetups - and the intensity and depravity present goes so, so much deeper than having rough sex with an SO, or spicing things up with a blindfold and wax.

whoever supports bdsm is either in deep deep deep denial or just doesnt know what bdsm is. 

People think we’re anti-sex, anti-fun prudes, when we’re in fact pro-non-abusive-fun and pro-healthy-sex. BDSM, however, is neither fun nor about healthy sex. It’s about violence, abuse, degradation, and rape.
