I want people, in particular cis people, to read this and understand what it means.

It means that these groups, these organizations, are so Hellbent on getting trans people outlawed, hurt, and killed, that they will openly lie and admit to lying to stir up emotions. They have no qualms with actively lying and distorting reality. 

They have no qualms about misleading people. Actively lying to people. 

They don’t care how immoral their actions may be, how much their rhetoric flies in the face of reality, as long as it reaches their end goal of the destruction of “transgender ideology.” 

MassResistance and all their ilk want us dead, and should never be trusted, not even for the most trivial of matters. They should be rejected, reviled, despised, because nothing they do is in service of anything but hatred and evil.

I checked it out and can neither confirm nor deny, since I’m not familiar with MassResistance and wouldn’t trust PinkNews to report the weather objectively, let alone handle this well.

What I do know is that the risk of predators in restrooms is neither contrived nor false.

In fact, the individual who is responsible for the North Carolina bathroom law, Chad Sevearance-Turner, is himself a convicted child sex offender.

He was convicted of assaulting three young boys that he met through his position as youth minister. He would lure the boys to his house under the pretext of sleepovers and pastoral care, and assault them.

He was charged with ten years, and served two…

And if you were wondering if the Charlotte LGBT Chamber of Commerce — his employers and ideological backers — were aware of his record?

They absolutely were.

“The CLGBTCC’s Melissa Morris succeeds Sevearance-Turner as the organization’s president…

Reached by phone, Morris said the CLGBTCC board had long been aware of Sevearance-Turner’s history, but didn’t consider it relevant to his current work.”

He resigned, Melissa Morris was elected as President, she selected him as VP and when she stepped down a few months later… known child sex predator Chad Severeance-Taylor was reappointed President.

So, by definition, this is off to a wonderful start.

And then it gets worse.

Regarding bathroom equality, we have test cases. Target’s bathroom policy was lauded as progressive and perfectly safe.

Did the data confirm that?

Sexual incidents increased over the course of the entire timeframe of the media reports. In particular, voyeurism-related offenses (Upskirt and Peeping Tom) increased significantly after the publication of Target’s gender-inclusion policy in April, 2016. The three-season forced-category measurement found a 2.3x increase in the amount of upskirt incidents after the policy, and a 2.9x increase in peeping tom incidents after the policy.

Oh shit, guess not.

But maybe it’s different in the public sector? Schools surely have handled it better.

The University of Toronto made a big stink about their gender neutral bathrooms and how nobody was ever going to do anything bad in them ever.

Let’s see if they were telling the truth!

Oh, shit, no, they weren’t.

The University of Toronto has decreased the number of gender-neutral bathrooms in one of its colleges after two women became victims of voyeurism when they were filmed while showering.

Here’s what the university says:

Gender-neutral washrooms exist in order to give transgender people a place where they feel included, and where they won’t be misgendered, says U of T’s Washroom Inclusivity Project.

And here’s what their spokesperson says now:

“Melinda Scott, dean of students at University College, told campus newspaper The Varsity that some washrooms in the college’s residences will now be separated by gender for “those who identify as men and those who identify as women.”

The purpose of this temporary measure is to provide a safe space for the women who have been directly impacted by these events and other students who may feel more comfortable in a single-gender washroom in the wake of these incidents.“

So while trans individuals want to feel included — in what?? it’s not actually a club — women want to feel safe.

Go figure.

And those are just bathrooms. If we consider this the thin edge of the wedge (Which it was, of course), I could list you multiple instances of trans identified male perverts harassing women in homeless shelters, prisons, and change rooms — all spaces where trans activists swear This Never Happens.

So honestly, the article is beyond shitty. I found these examples while doing my goddamn hair, so they can at least do their goddamn due diligence.

Mixed sex facilities are the most dangerous for women and girls. Hard to imagine why people would claim to have made something up when it is clearly documented fact. Unless they are lying to poison the well.

‘Anti-trans group admits bathroom predator myth is made up’

We literally have actual cases of TIMs harming women and children in women’s bathrooms. Yet go ahead and try to find a single case of a TIM being harmed in men’s bathroom. I have yet to. 

“Family values” is a pretty obvious dogwhistle for “fuck those sexual degenerates also known as The Gays”. Right wingers being homophobic/transphobic is not surprising.
